Somehow, it's already time for another AWiP prep event. This month, we released a survey to assess what is helping you all the most during prep months. Many of you indicated that both January 2021 and October 2021 prep events were helpful, so we’ll be trying out a new way to release prompts! In January, we sent out a daily prompt each day, and in October, we sent out a list of questions every few days. This month, we’ll be combining these approaches. A daily question will be released through NaNo Bat in the March prompts channel, and a list of each week’s daily questions will also be released at the beginning of the week.
You can respond to these questions in whatever way works for you—an aesthetic, a drawing, a snippet, a short response, or anything else you can think of! If you're sharing your answers with us on AWiP, any visuals—aesthetics, Picrews, word cloud pictures, or any other images, videos, etc.—will go in the visual response channel. Any words—snippets, answers to questions, information about your WIP, links, etc.—will go in the written response channel.
Throughout the month, we'll try to share as many resources as possible to help everyone prep. We will also have workshops hosted by our Messes similar to past prep months, and each workshop should be announced at least 48 hours in advance.
As mentioned earlier, this is a new prep month format for AWiP, so if you have any questions, concerns, comments, or suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us! If you want to join in with us on social media, too, tag us at @AWiP_writes on Twitter or use the hashtag #AWiPrepMonth.
We’re really excited to see the projects you guys come up with for April! Happy prepping!
